Having to change the leader on a Carolina rig can be time consuming, not to mention frustrating if you have bad eyes and shakey hands like me.

My solution:

1) While you are at home pre-tie a bunch of leaders using a Norman Lures Speed Clip (or the clip/snap of your choice) on the end opposite the hook.

2) Remove the split ring from the small end of s bunch of swivels.

3) Rig your C-rig as you normally would, except when it comes time to put on a leader just clip one on to the swivel using the clip/snap.

If your leader snags or snaps it will save you a lot of time not having to tie up another from scratch. That equals more time with your bait in the water and more potential bass in the livewell.   :-*   :)

P,S, No matter what clip/snap you use it is going to collect some vegetation if that is what you are fishing. I have tried just about every kind out there but find the Norman Speed Clips to be the most weedless.  8)
