Pensacola Area

I just got stationed in Pensacola within the past two weeks. I am trying to find places around here to go bass fishing. I live near the Naval Base and am looking for any tips. They all will be greatly appreciated. i don't know a whole lot about the area just yet. I am also looking at possibly buying a boat and could use some tips on that also. Thanks everyone. I am new to this website so not sure if this is where i should be posting this so if not i apologize.
