Hey Everybody, I've just started fishing tournaments this year ( as a non-boater) and a few of the guys I fish with have a single live well and no cull tags for them or their partner  :-\ So I had been looking into buying some cull tags and WOAH expensive, way more than what I'm looking for. So I started brainstorming and came up with these, and they work great for me. They cost me $10 and I made them in about 5 minutes plus a trip to the local Dick's sporting goods.

Supplies you will need:
Pack of Bobbers- you can pick the size you like ( corks from a bottle of wine or a local craft store would work as well) I bought a pack of multi colored Bobbers, but you could also hand paint/color them or label them with numbers ~ $3
12 inch steel fishing liter- rope would work as well and some people may like the look more with rope, but I wanted to keep the trip to one store. I also like the liter more because it has a clip on swivel and are very easy to attach. ~ $3-4
1 chain stringer- These come in Different sizes, I got the one with 9 clips so I would have a few extras ~$3

The First step I went about was taking the Snaps off of the chain swivel. These clips can be filed down to a point so it is easy to clip onto the fish, but they should work fine as they come

I then took the steel liter and attached the end with the snap swivel and attached it to the bottom of the larger snap

I then took a bobber

And attached the bottom clip of the bobber onto the opposite end of the liter with the barrel swivel

Alot of these steps can be interchanged with other things and can be altered to accomodate your needs/wants.

I did the same thing as you except I didn't use bobbers. I used old crankbaits I had broke the bill off on rocks or a bridge. Take the hooks off though.lol

I do something simular except I use old busted crankbaits for the floats.  After I remove the treble hooks of course.   ~roflmao
